ESTERO, Fla., Oct. 20, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Hertz Global Holdings' (NYSE:HTZ) Brian Casebolt, vice president of merchandising and ancillary revenue, has been recognized on the 2015 OUTstanding & Financial Times Top 100 Leading LGBT (Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender) Executives List, published today. The list recognizes inspirational role models across the globe who work tirelessly to ensure that the workplace is equally inclusive for everyone.

Brian Casebolt, Vice President of Merchandising & Ancillary Revenue, Hertz Global Holdings

"We are incredibly proud to have Brian as a part of our organization and grateful for his efforts to champion a diverse, inclusive workplace at Hertz," said Eliana Zem, executive vice president and chief human resources officer at Hertz Global Holdings. "Diversity is one of our cultural pillars, and we work hard to ensure it permeates the organization. Brian is a true leader in this important area for us."

Casebolt is number 85 on the list compiled by OUTstanding, a not-for-profit professional network for LGBT executives and their allies, and published in association with the Financial Times. Those on the list were nominated by peers and colleagues, and nominations were reviewed by OUTstanding's judging panel. Each person was scored on the seniority and influence of his or her role, impact on LGBT inclusion inside and outside the workplace and business achievements.

"I am humbled and honored to be recognized among the many influential business role models on this important list," said Casebolt. "Our local and global communities are strongest when we embrace diversity, and we unlock the full potential of our businesses when we are all able to live authentically. We all have a shared obligation, and I have a personal responsibility, to ensure future generations are able to continue the progress being made."

At Hertz, Casebolt will lead the LGBT & Allies Employee Resource Group (ERG), which will be formed in the coming months and is a part of the company's broader employee engagement efforts. Outside of the office, he volunteers with the Point Foundation's Cornerstone Society, where he mentors and supports LGBT undergraduate and graduate students.  Additionally, he is a longtime supporter of Reaching Out MBA and has participated as a volunteer, conference speaker and panelist to support the organization's mission of educating and inspiring business students to impact change in the classroom and workplace.

In his role at Hertz, Casebolt leads the merchandising and ancillary revenue team, which is comprised of over 5,000 frontline employees across Hertz's portfolio of brands, including Hertz, Dollar, Thrifty and Firefly, at over 200 major airports and 3,000 off-airport locations.
